The Twain Harte Stormwater Project is replacing 2900 feet of underground stormdrain infrastructure, while upgrading pedestrian facilities with ADA compliance. The project will also include climate appropriate planting. At the Twain Harte Meadows Park, Eight 5000 gallon rain storage tanks will be installed, while providing permeable paving, bioswales, and a community garden. At the Twain Harte School site there will be six rain tanks and one 40,000 gallon stormwater tank, with turf replacement and bioswales. An additional rain tank, permeable paving and a rain garden will be constructed at the Community Services District office. The entire project is planned to treat over 28 million gallons of rainwater each year, with an expected 1.96 million gallons of water conserved.
