Topic: Planning for Wildfire, are you Ready?

Rodger B. Thompson M.S. Registered Professional Forester since 1980. Retired Deputy Chief of CAL FIRE with 26 years fire control and resource management experience. Began working in the forestry field since the 8th grade. Spent 23 years in private industry as a consulting forester specializing in research of original surveys, expert witness work, and timber harvesting. Undergraduate study in Forestry was completed at Humboldt State University and a Masters Degree in Emergency Management Administration from Cal State Long Beach. Mr. Thompson is also currently a Mono County Planning Commissioner.
